Maseno School underlined its prowess in es­say writing with consistency in top perfor­mance. The school has so far participated in six competitive essays which include; AFEW-Giraffe centre Environmental Essay competition for the World Environmental Day, the School was ranked the first runners up, World Scholars Cup Essay compe­tition, SUSWACH Environmental essay competition, e- Kitabu essay competition on ICT integration in secondary education. Maseno also participated in the Nation Get on the Bus Scholarship and Mentorship Programme where some students benefited from the scholarship.

‘This is a tremendous progress compared to the previous years,” said Madam Jackie who is behind essay writing in Maseno School. He chal­lenged the students to embrace writing and partici­pate in large numbers in essay writing since it is one of the ways of improving in academics. Madam Jackie is also the H.O. D English.
